How to take care of dogs.

Tender Love and Care. I simply love dogs. Dogs are very loyal and protective creatures and with the proper treatment, they will reward you with their loyalty and trust. So here are some steps and tips about how to treat your pet dogs.
  • Do not cage them.  When dogs are caged, what usually happens is that they turn wild and violent. They may be very aggressive if kept in cages for so long plus their health will also deteriorate. Cages are often hard to maintain and it is very messy and as a result you are putting you pet's health at risk. Dogs are different from birds, they are not to be caged. If you want your dog to easily warm up to you then don't seclude them in tiny cages.
  • Do not keep them on leashes all the time. When walking your dog it is okay to use leashes but when they are at home do not tie them up all the time. This will strangle them when they try to be free.
  • Feed them regularly and bathe them. Read here: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/feeding.html
  • Reward them if they do something good.
  • Maintain a close relationship with your dog. While they are still puppies make the habit of petting them while they eat so that when they grow up, they won't be aggressive if you go near them while they eat.
  • Shower your dog with love and attention and they will, in turn, reward you with their loyalty and love as well. :)

How to debate.

Debate is the highest form of public speaking. It requires critical thinking, responsiveness, argumentation and other factors that can all be achieved through time and practice. Debate is not an inborn skill, it is acquired by any person who is willing to learn and practice the art of argumentation.

This is going to be a simple tutorial of the basics of Debate. The format I will be using is the Austral-Asians Debate. Here are the following terminologies you will come upon.
  • Motion: This is what we will be debating about. For example: This House Believes That We should ban smoking.
  • Government Side and the Opposition Side of the house: The house will be divided into two sides, the gov and opp. Government side will argue by defending what the motion calls for while the opposition is the negative side which means they will be against what the government side will propose and make up their own counter proposals.
  • Proposals: This is what the government side wants to happen or achieve.
  • Counter Proposals: This is what the opposition side insists to do.
  • POI: Points of Information. These are questions that a speaker either has the choice to accept or not. You raise POIs if you want to clarify, rebut, add information by raising you hand while the speaker from the opposite team speaks.
